Alphabe-Thursday I for Ink wells …

July 19, 2012

Ink Wells … a little collection; although the wooden pot  not used for ink but was used for red paste called Tilaka used by Hindus to mark their foreheads.

From this filled pen

flowing ink to illuminate

the open waiting mind

I have always LOVED writing with a REAL ink pen. I even have some of those little ink wells.

    Excellent “I” post!!

I remember days of writing with ink pens. I have some pens from long ago when I took a calligraphy class.

I had a friend that used to collect inkwells.

They lined her windowsills and made lovely patterns and colors on the wall as the sun shone through them.

Thank you for reminding me of her.

And for sharing this interesting link for the letter “I”.

    A+
