Silent Sunday … Signal flags.

August 5, 2012

Yesterday, while the tide was going out and a stiff a breeze; there was no sailing here at the Tudor Sailing Club, overlooking Langstone Harbour.
So these signal flags were very silent.

This is a Silent Sunday post inspired by Mocha Beanie Mummy. Check out the rest of the entries using tag #silentsunday on twitter.

That’s a lot of flags. Never heard of signal flags for sailing before

Yes I remember them as a child. From a distance they were small and pretty. Up close they are big like a small table cloth, bright and meaningful!! So no arguing!
      🙂 happy Silence?
