Trifextra: Week Fifty-Seven Weekend Challenge
March 2, 2013
For the weekend challenge we have been asked to write exactly thirty-three words in first person narrative. By way of a detraction I have added a pretty image … my daughter’s bike that she rides in Rio!
I often wonder. “What it would be like to arrive at work as cool as a cucumber and with my hair in place?’ Tomorrow I will leave my bike at home and see …

🙂 but it’s so much more fun to ride
But … sometimes I wonder 🙂
Ha!ha!A great idea, worth trying:-)Even I wonder, how people returning home in sweltering heat, after a hard day at work, look as fresh as Spring!
Hahah I walk but still arrive hot and bothered!
Oh that made me chuckle, like the feeling of driving in an open top car, the wind in your hair and on your face..only to look at yourself afterwards, with bed hair and panda eyes…well done Helen. 🙂
Exactly 🙂 and thanks for visit and kind attention xx
I too ride my bike everywhere. I know how she feels!
My bike is my friend … _/\_ x
I always hated bike helmets for the same reason-they are hot and do bad things to the hair:)
I really like your take on this prompt! Good job!
I am a fool for my hair … ! Thank you for kind attention _/\_ x
I would have so ridden a bike to work, if I could. This is very descriptive.
What I like mostly is the independence; don’t like relying on others and the cost of the public transport if it was available. The inconvenience is insignificant! _/\_ x
heh (: This is cute. I love it.
I would love to be able to ride to work!
I can walk to my work. 25 minutes to collect my thoughts, listen to my iPod, unwind……it is treasured time. But, it is a cold walk in the winter and a hot, humid walk other days. But, I wouldn’t trade a little heat or chill winds to ride a bus everyday. I think you should ride and enjoy the freedom of the open air in your face. 🙂
Yes! You are right 🙂
I had a colleague who arrived on his bike for years. He always had to change out of his spandex and into his business suit before the day started. I assume he also applied copious amounts of deodorant, though I couldn’t smell it for his heavy cologne.
Hehe 🙂
So cute! I miss being able to ride my bike – can’t wait for spring! But I definitely hear you about being sweaty and having your hair ruined! Great take on the prompt!
Yes, Me too i was quite springlike today 🙂
Damn funny, Hellen.
Ha! I know the feeling. I’ve been riding my bike to work since September, and my hair definitely shows it when I arrive. But it’s worth the trade-off – it cuts my commute time in half, and I’ve lost 10 pounds. 🙂
I totally agree, the advantages outweigh any inconvenience 100% 😉 x
lol Used to have those thoughts, but regarding motorcycle & helmet head!
Oh! I am not alone and happier with my thoughts _/\_x
